John Carlo Belloti, who formerly sang with Scottish Opera, sings the part of Alfredo. Germont Senior is sung by Alister Allan. Musical director is Richard Johnston, accompanist is Robert Duncan.

Violetta suffers from consumption and her health deteriorates. She separates from Alfredo and goes back to her life in Paris as a courtesan, only being reunited with Alfredo on her deathbed.
