Edzell Drama Group is set to perform again this Saturday evening (February 16) with curtain up at 7.30 p.m., in the village’s Inglis Hall.
Following the successful formula adopted in each of the past two years, for one night only the group will put on a series of ‘Skits, Sketches, Monologues and Music’ for its first offering of 2013, drawn from a variety of sources, including ‘Scotland the What’ and ‘The Two Ronnies’.
Watch out indeed, not just for the two Ronnies, but also the two Johnnies and the two Florries! The famous black Mastermind chair also features strongly, but with questions and answers you wouldn’t normally associate with the popular quiz.
Musical asides are also included, with John Gove on piano and several well known tunes that the audience will be invited to join in with.
The entertainment takes place either side of an interval, when the usual refreshments will be served and a raffle will be held.
Tickets are priced at £7 each (£3.50 for under-12s) and are available from the Spar Grocer and the Edzell Post Office.
